New Year's Resolution: Personal Commandments

Today I came across an article while reading Gretchen Rubin's Blog http://www.happiness-project.com/happiness_project/2008/12/new-years-resol.html which sparked my attention. I sat for about 20 min. and thought about my New Year's Resolutions again, which hadn't revealed themselves to this date. Even before New Year's Eve I was asking to be shown something that feels deep and meaningful. Nothing seemed to feel 'right' up to this point. My heart simply did not overflow with joy by shouting "Yes". Then I read about the 'Personal Commandments', and to me this felt like a synchronistic encounter, because I also have used both words within Headers for two of my previous articles.
Thank you Gretchen for having initiated a vibe that 'got me unstuck' ... :)

I feel enticed to share my personal experience about reading her article
with all of you by passing on the idea of this wonderful energy.
Please read below what I came up with and allow yourself to be inspired by writing your own Personal Commandments :)
Enjoy!

1. Be still.

2. Be present.

3. Be aware.

4. Breathe consciously often.

5. Remember: You are loved!

6. Smile :)

7. SEE Opportunities in Everything.

8. There is a "Yes" in every "No"!

9. Acknowledge other people's beliefs and feelings as well as your own beliefs and feelings without placing judgment upon them.
(None-judgment feels like: 'Maybe' as it gently and subtly acknowledges and accepts different levels of truth)

10. Respond by being conscious of what your heart would say.
(None-resistance inquires: 'Is that so?' and acknowledges all options and beliefs as truth)

11. Trust that Everything is as it is supposed to be.
(None-attachment sais: 'This too shall pass')

12. Feel the presence of Joy often!

The Quotes in parentheses are based on Eckart Tolle's "A New Earth"

Happy New Year to all of you!
